Yes it is true, the body really does keep the score. Everything you experience is stored somewhere in your body; near the surface in facial adhesions, and at the deepest levels, in our DNA which can be altered by things like trauma. Most things get moved on, mitigated and washed out by the bodies own highest functioning and intelligence, and sometimes knots and adhesions and inflammations set in and take hold and the best course of action is good old fashioned massage and myofascial release.
Trained in Deep tissue, Lymphatic/Medical, Esalen, Sports, and Trigger Point massage; as well as Cranio-sacral and Polarity therapy, I incorporate all of these modalities in each session as called for by your body to help relieve stress, remove knots and aid in the healing of trauma.
